Welcome to www.whatsrealunlimited.com. Since 1991, What's Real Unlimited has specialized in all
things music and sound in Rochester, New York. Services include all types of sound recording & mixing, record producing,
songwriting, and music performance. What's Real Unlimited is also an independent label that has released
numerous titles by rock recording artist,
Matthew D. Guarnere (Gwar • nair • e),
also known as M.D.G.
In 2004, Guarnere decided he wanted to concentrate more exclusively on his own music projects, so he closed down his studio and became part of a powerful collective of recording specialists and musicians. Blackdog Recording Studios' state-of-the-art facility has proved to be as versatile as it has been welcoming to M.D.G. So from now on, most What's Real Unlimited business–primarily its multitrack and binaural recording services–will be conducted through Blackdog. Pictured left is the one-of-a-kind What's Real Binaural Head, used mainly for acoustic recordings. Click on the image for more information.
